standard sappy blather

so I’ve been here (consistently) for five months. in
that time, I have made SO MANY new friends, grown a great
deal CLOSER to some old ones && embarked upon a truly
incredible journey, both as a writer && a person in general.
I also survived the worst break up of my life while I was here
&& it’s thanks, in no small part, to YOU people.

Michael was created at a point where I was honestly considering
giving up tumblr for GOOD. all of you who write with me, who follow
me, who sent me little messages of SUPPORT && LOVE serve
as a reminder of how much  b e a u t y  there still is on this site.

so to each && every one of you, I extent GREAT THANKS. 500+
followers later && I am FINALLY getting around to doing one of these
things. my first ever bias list.

piiratescave - Symi. this blog was made FOR YOU. it is still here because
you BELIEVED in it. in me. you nurtured me when I felt uncertain, guided me
home every time I got lost && if I couldn’t see the path…you FOUND me. so
here is my promise to always FIND YOU. I’ll ALWAYS be your brother, just
as you will FOREVER be mine. when life won’t cut you any slack && everything
seems scary, know it’s ALRIGHT. I’ll be by your side, fighting until the end,
making sure that you remember for the rest of your days just what an absolutely
INCREDIBLE, ONCE IN A LIFETIME person you really are. even if you don’t
see it right now, it’s okay. trust me. you will. I love you Brudder.

hoopers - Dani, you’re my BEST FRIEND. I call you pretty much EVERY
DAY && without fail, you always, ALWAYS, make me smile. our journey
has certainly not been an  e a s y  one, has it? but we’re still here, a little
WISER for our weathering of the bad times && so much CLOSER thanks
to all of the good. I love you so much, I don’t think I can ever fully EXPRESS
it without dissolving into weird screeching sounds. I think you already  k n o w
this, but just in case you needed a reminder…I LOVE YOU DANIBEAR! in
spite of your jelly filling and odd eyedrops face, you’re still my bestie <3

respondinginkind - Caity. my big ol’ moose, my fellow HOSER, my blue
haired baby ( unless you recently dyed it again?? ) hello. you were the person
who first challenged me to make an indie, after we met in a Gotham group, so
it’s thanks to you Michael ever HAPPENED. you gave me the CONFIDENCE
to go it alone, have proved to be an amazing friend && even partner in crime.
though we currently don’t speak NEARLY as much as I’d like, know I think 
about you all the time && love you a hell of a lot. like…the most someone can
without  e x p l o d i n g. I am so PROUD of you for your German adventure &&
I am excited for many more years of writing together.

finally, those of you that I STALK from afar. I can be a bit of
a turnip about approaching the people I ADMIRE. but there is
a very  g o o d  reason I follow you. I believe writing with strong
writers is what aids most with IMPROVEMENT, so whether we
