leave a brotp/platonic ship in my ask and i’ll tell you:

• who steals french fries off the other’s plate: shelley. but it’s not stealing, it’s chester allowing her to take his food.
• who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple: neither. they have more a father-daughter, or caretaker, type relationship. to consider themselves a couple repulses both of them.
• who has to bust or bail the other out of jail: chester. he’s forfeited his life of trouble ( for the most part ) but he knows that it’s taking shelley a longer time to adjust to a relatively normal life. so, until then, chester’s always there to help.
• who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues: chester. he may not be the best at having stable relationships, but in the current lifestyle he has now, being with who he is with, if shelley needs any basic advice, chester is there.
• who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes: shelley. but, once again, chester allows her to/
  
• who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk: shelley. chester hardly sleeps through the night ( even when it appears he’s resting, sometimes it’s just him with his eyes closed, thinking over life ), so givign up the top bunk is a-okay with him.
• who starts and who wins the pillow fights: chester and let’s be real, shelley can beat his ass. easily.
  
• who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush: shelley & it can embarrass chester so much.
